Former World Champion, The Rock is one of the biggest names who has ever competed in the WWE. The Brahma Bull has made multiple appearances since leaving WWE in 2004. Since then, he also has headlined two WrestleMania matches against WWE Champ John Cena. There is an assumption that Dwayne Johnson will be a part of WrestleMania 38.
As already rumored through reports, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin is expected to be at WrestleMania 38. According to these reports, Steve Austin will go head to head with Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens has adapted Stone Cold’s famous finisher, ‘Stunner’ inside the square. However, it seems that The Rattlesnake would not be the only WWE legend appearing at the two-night event.
Will The Rock appear at WrestleMania?
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that the company is planning another “Steve Austin-level” surprise for WrestleMania. Dave Meltzer did not note who that surprise would be or whether the wrestler would step inside the ring; nothing is confirmed yet. For Meltzer, the wrestlers at the Steve Austin level are names like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, John Cena, and Ric Flair.
Dave also noted that John Cena’s schedule probably wouldn’t allow him for this year’s WrestleMania, as he would be busy in Hollywood. He stated the same about Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson.
The WWE Megastar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appeared at the NFL Super Bowl LVI on Sunday night. It was his dream to be a part of the NFL. However, even if not as a player, The Rock made his way on the football field and kicked off the Super Bowl.
The Rock introduced the two teams at kick-off on the football field and mentioned “the millions” during the incredible opening. WWE fans worldwide know when The Rock uses the catchphrase “the millions,” the fans would chant, “Rocky, Rocky, Rocky!”
Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter teasing about “The Millions”
The Hollywood star used to cut promos using the same tagline when he was doing full time in the WWE. However, the former WWE Champion took it to Twitter and teased a possible surprise return in the ring. He stated that the catchphrase is a little “Easter egg” for the WWE fans.
As mentioned earlier, the tweet by The Rock is just a tease; whether or not he would appear at WrestleMania, the fans have to tune in for WrestleMania to know the answer. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is scheduled with multiple projects in Hollywood during the two-night event.
WWE is only two months away from hosting their Biggest Show of the Year, WrestleMania 38. WWE have confirmed only two matches for the Grandest Stage of them all. The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Universal title against The Beast Brock Lesnar.
Also, The Queen Charlotte Flair will defend her WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion against Rowdy Ronda Rousey. Let’s hope that the WWE can bring tremendous returns at WrestleMania 38.
