WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair has given his thoughts on Goldberg, saying that he is one of the nicest guys in the wrestling business.

Goldberg is, without doubt, one of the two most successful acts to have emerged during the tenure of World Championship Wrestling along with the New World Order.

Building a winning streak like no other, the former Atlanta Falcon made history when he defeated Hollywood Hulk Hogan to become the undefeated WCW World Champion in July 1998. In his 17th defence of the title just five months later at Starrcade, Goldberg was finally defeated by Kevin Nash for the gold with more than a little help from Scott Hall and a Taser.

Unfortunately, Goldberg is also as well known for ending the career of Bret Hart after an errant kick to The Hitman’s head caused a concussion so severe that Hart was forced to retire.

Speaking on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast Ric Flair discussed his thoughts on Goldberg and says despite his stiffness in the ring, he’s one of the nicest guys around:

Bill’s (Goldberg) another guy that was thrown into the fire without time to really develop his skills. But I will say this about Bill, as stiff as the son of a b*tch is, as many times as he’s kicked my head off and drilled me, he’s one of the nicest guys in the business – and has remained nice… and he’s humble and respectful.”

Despite both men’s positions during their time in WCW, Ric Flair and Goldberg only met one-on-one once on WCW television during an episode of Monday Nitro on the 8th of March, 1999.
