Injury Update on WWE Legend Randy Orton

The Usos defeated the RK-Bros to retain their undisputed tag team championship on last week’s SmackDown. The bloodline also brutally attacked Orton and Riddle after the match. However, following the incident on the recent edition of Monday Night Raw, Matt Riddle addresses Randy Orton is suffering from serious back problems.

Furthermore, he mentioned that before their Tag Team Title match, Orton could barely walk. However, The Viper wrestled at the match as he know how much it meant to Riddle. Moreover, on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE released an update on Orton’s health.

WWE posted an update on Twitter, stating, “Randy Orton is currently undergoing consultations with neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons to determine the extent of his injury and to recommend course of treatment.”

WWE has made it absolutely clear that The Apex Predator will be away from the ring for some time. Meanwhile, his tag team partner joined forces with Shinsuke Nakamura and challenged The Usos for the tag team titles on Friday Night SmackDown.

Randy Orton had multiple injuries over his 20-year career, and he had suffered from back problems from time to time. Additionally, it appears that Orton will return after Money in the Bank. Also; it is speculated that he might face Roman Reigns in SummerSlam.

The Viper is one of the biggest superstars that came out of the Ruthless Aggression Era. During his career, he had major feuds with John Cena, Triple H, and The Undertaker.

Orton never failed to entertain the WWE universe. In his WWE run, he provided many iconic moments. He was one of the greatest heels of the company. Additionally, he cemented his legendary position in the company. During his career, he acquired the World Championship 14 times.

The Apex Predator is also a two-time Royal Rumble champion. One of Orton’s career highlights was winning the Royal Rumble for the second time in 2017. Furthermore, he lately joined forces with Riddle to become the tag team champion. He did, however, lose the championship to The Usos.

The WWE universe celebrated the legend’s 20-year anniversary recently. Nevertheless, the WWE fandom will undoubtedly be excited to see how and when Orton will return to WWE following his back injury.
